PPWR packaging conformity

Prepare PPWR packaging evidence before the next supplier question becomes a search.

Manufacturers need technical documentation and, after the applicable conformity assessment, an EU declaration of conformity. Suppliers provide information and documentation needed to demonstrate packaging conformity. Doconio connects that work to the relevant item, source, evidence version and responsible role.

Clarify what must be demonstrated for each packaging item

Your team defines the applicable packaging, requirements and responsibility with appropriate legal or technical advice. Doconio then structures item and batch context, compositions, specifications and the evidence expected for the selected process.

Collect the supporting information from the right supplier

Role-based requests connect a supplier, packaging source, requested evidence and due date. Submitted documentation remains linked to the relevant item and concrete version instead of disappearing in an email thread.

Retain the evidence path behind the declaration

Evidence coverage, review decisions and declaration generation remain connected so the team can show which information supported its process. Doconio does not determine legal conformity, replace a testing body or material analysis, or provide legal advice.

Questions and answers

PPWR evidence FAQ

What information does the PPWR process need from suppliers?

The Regulation requires suppliers of packaging or packaging materials to provide manufacturers with the information and documentation necessary to demonstrate conformity, including relevant technical documentation. The concrete scope depends on the packaging and applicable requirements.

Does Doconio decide whether our packaging is legally compliant?

No. Doconio structures and documents the evidence and declaration process. It does not make a legal conformity determination, replace a testing body or material analysis, or provide legal advice.

Can we manage packaging from several suppliers?

Yes. An item can retain distinct supplier sources and the evidence connected to each source, while the team keeps the tenant-owned packaging identity and overall evidence coverage visible.

Can Doconio create a conformity declaration?

Doconio provides an available declaration-generation workflow based on the item, composition, specification and approved evidence maintained in the process. The customer remains responsible for content, review, signature and legal use.

Which teams are involved?

Packaging responsibility, quality management, product compliance and procurement typically contribute different parts of the process. The exact legal role and responsibility must be established for the organization and packaging context.
